Competition may be cancelled if conditions are unsafe — heavy rain, lightning, or a waterlogged track.
How you'll find out
- WhatsApp announcements channel — our primary communication method. Make sure you're in the group.
- Facebook page — notices are also posted here.
Cancellations are typically posted by 5:00 pm on the day.
When in doubt
Assume competition is ON until you see a cancellation notice. We run in light rain. Check again around 5:00 pm if the weather is uncertain.
Lightning
If lightning is detected nearby, competition stops immediately. Athletes and families move to covered areas or vehicles until conditions are safe.
